This just in!
We have our first official JB photo! And boy is it amazing!
The whole idea of the blog came about after I told my husband, Shawn, I would like to send JB a picture of my daughter, Kyndall, holding a sign with his name on it to let him know he was in our thoughts and prayers. Of course the sprockets in my mind are turning at warp speed as I think of all the different and creative ways I can present his name in the photograph. Shawn begins to tell me that JB likes UGA and Georgia Tech and we agree it would be a good idea to call our friend Michelle Broach who has a brother that attends Ga Tech and is in charge of the Ramblin' Wreck. We ask her if she can help us out with a Ga Tech picture and she said "consider it done!" Thus, the blog is born!
Her husband, CPT Randy Broach, is the Commander of the Delta Company, 1-121st Infantry of the 48th Brigade at FOB Vulcan in the province of Ghanzi, Afghanistan. When she spoke with her husband that night on the phone, she told him what we were planning on doing for JB. Randy and his fellow mates wanted to do their part!
What an amazing photograph! Click on the photo to enlarge and you will see 'JB' on the tank as well as two Georgia Tech T-shirts! Thank you guys so much for your support for JB as well as protecting our country! We appreciate you and wish you a safe return home!
This picture certainly deserves another look.
I absolutely tear-up just looking at it!
Thank you guys for taking the time to do this and I can guarantee you it will bring a huge smile to his face! What an outstanding group of men you are!
